Broad Leys is one of only two Voysey properties with accommodation available to the public. The six period bedrooms provide modern conveniences but retain very much their elegant lakeside retreat concept.

Accommodation at Broad Leys
Guest accommodation consists of six well appointed bedrooms all furnished in the “Arts and Crafts” style with original fireplaces. Three are en suite and three are non-en suite with shared access to Victorian bathrooms. Two of the en suite rooms have large bow windows giving incredible views of the lake with Coniston Old Man as a splendid backdrop, and the third en suite bedroom overlooks the croquet lawn. Some of the rooms have a double bed in them and others have twin beds so please ask for details of the rooms available.

Double & Twin Rooms 4, 5 & 6 - from £150 per room
Although these rooms are not en suite, they have washbasins and the use of three adjacent bathrooms on the guest-room corridor (two of which feature the original tiling, oak panelling and porcelain baths - but also modern shower units!)
All rooms have a flat Screen TV and DVD player. Tea and coffee making facilities are also available. Soft fluffy white bathrobes and towels are provided in each room together with shampoo, conditioner & soaps.
The house is primarily used at weekends by members for dinners and events, but the bedrooms can be booked Sunday to Thursday for bed and breakfast or for an inclusive packages including dinner, a tour of the house, the southern lakes and opportunities to visit other architectural gems such as Blackwell, the Arts & Crafts house less than a mile away.

All rates are based on 2 persons including full Lakeland breakfast, temporary membership and VAT.
